Pike Brothers was founded by George and Joseph Pike in 1930. The company's products are based on the outdoor and workwear of the early 20th century, using the original production methods for an authentic look and feel.

The1937 Roamer shirt is based on an American work shirt from the late 30s. Like the original, it offers the wearer a high level of comfort thanks to the roomy cut. Another detail of the 1937 Roamer shirt is the "smoker's bag". In the first half of the 20th century, smoking was still socially acceptable and smokers generally tried to make life easier. So also with the work clothes. The smoker's bag is cut so that you can stow a softpack in it. If the owner now feels like a "fag", he is able to remove a cigarette from his soft pack without having to pull out the whole box.
