Forge Denim is our own brand, made in England with the finest quality materials and the best craftsmanship.
Denim is at the heart of what we do. We love the way that each pair of jeans tells a story, developing a fade and a pattern of wear that is unique to the owner. All of our jeans are made with the finest Japanese selvedge denim from the iconic Kurabo mills.
We are very proud to be the only jeans company to make our buttons in England. Our stainless steel buttons, the scissors that cut our denim and the stamps for the pocket bags and tags are all made in Sheffield, our home town.
We wanted to support those companies that still prioritised the tradition of English craftsmanship. We have chosen to work with companies like English Fine Cottons, who make the cotton yarn for our tees and sweatshirts. They produce a quality product, pay their staff fairly and work hard to minimise their environmental impact. As an added bonus, they are reviving the cotton industry in its traditional heartland of the North West of England.
As a small company, it is just not possible to work with businesses thousands of miles away and to be really confident about the conditions in which our clothes are made. By choosing local companies we can be sure that everyone involved is treated fairly. We know who makes our clothes and, if you buy Forge Denim, you do too.
The care we have taken to sort these different components and fabrics is part of our commitment to making clothes that looks right and feels right, down to the smallest detail. Fairway - Sand
The Fairway jacket provides a stylish, weatherproof option for those days when the forecast is uncertain. Wherever you're heading, you can be confident that the waxed cotton fabric will be more than a match for any passing showers. We have finished the Fairway with a subtle, panelled detail on the front, and have given the sleeves a slimmer profile towards the cuff for a smarter, tailored appearance.
FD003 'The Unconventional' Carrot Fit 13oz
The FD003 is a style that is prepared to stand out from the crowd. Cut with a subtle carrot profile, these jeans have a little more room through the seat and thighs, tapering to a slimmer profile on the lower leg, and are finished with a 13.5" hem. Angled darts at the knees and an inverted yoke ensure that these jeans will keep their shape, day in day out. The FD003 comes in a 13 oz blue selvedge raw denim, sourced from the iconic Kurabo mills in Japan. We use sanforized (pre-shrunk) denim, so choose your actual size.
Breton LS - Navy/Ecru
We have always had a soft spot for the iconic Breton Tee. Our version is made with a 250 gsm jersey fabric, sourced and knitted in England. We have given our Breton Tee a regular fit and with an option of short or long sleeve.
Ribbed Sweatshirt - Indigo
For the indigo version of our sweatshirt we have chosen a 470 gsm loopback cotton fabric manufactured in England, and constructed with flatlock stitching for additional comfort. The sweatshirt is finished with a ribbed collar, cuffs and waistband and we have also added ribbed side panels to provide ease of movement.
