Originally favored by tradesmen like welders and mechanics, this material became renowned for its exceptional durability and comfort. Still produced in Germany to its historical specifications, the fabric is made using the same time-honored formula that has remained unchanged for over a century.

Although made entirely from cotton, the fabric shares some qualities with real leather. Its toughness comes from a dense weave, with tightly packed wefts providing excellent abrasion resistance and the ability to endure heavy use.
