Made in Japan from recycled heavyweight cotton, this crewneck tee is knitted on an antique circular knitting machine, a labour-intensive technique predating modern jersey production. Each shirt takes over 1.5 hours to make, resulting in a traditionally proportioned fit that is distinctly squarer and boxier than contemporary cuts.
